I am selling my car because I am graduating from college and going back to Japan next month. 2 years ago I bought the car from the original owner and have about 20,000 miles on it. The car runs fine but failed the Smog Check due to a faulty Oxygen sensor and the mechanic informed me that it would cost about $1000 extra to repair those parts in order to pass the Smog Check. The car is so old that there is almost 100% chance that it will break down within a year, depending on the annual mileage. I would recommend buying it if you can afford the purchase price as well as the maintenance costs.
I bought it 2 years ago and spent about $5000 on repairs.
Repairs include engine starter. Complete coolant system. Power steering. 4 tires. Oil change once every 3000 miles (since purchase)
