Mammy ＆ Mee New Year's Mochi Pounding Contest

We will hold a New Year Mochi-tsuki (rice cake pounding) event. This is the first time for not only children but also adults to experience the traditional rice cake pounding using a stone mortar and pestle. Let's celebrate by eating freshly pounded mochi together and praying for good health for the year ahead ！.

This is a traditional Mochi-tsuki (rice cake pounding) event at Sahiku Tozai Gakuen using a traditional stone mortar and pestle.

The event will be held at Sahmyook Tozai Gakuen Irvine ／ Costa Mesa School parking lot. This event will be held jointly with Sanyiku Tozai Gakuen students.
