Ban-chan, a noodle stall, passed away
in March 2022 after a sudden change in his condition during dialysis.
Thinking of his gentle personality in his life and his battle with illness in his later years,
I sincerely wish him a peaceful life ・ ・ ・.


Thank you so much for sharing with me what so many of you know.
Also, I was honestly surprised
that so many people like me wanted to know about his condition and safety. I am glad I took the plunge and posted here.


Since many of you are unaware of my inquiries, I would like to introduce a few things here.
This is the story of a man who was nicknamed
Ban-chan under the trade name "Yatai no Ramenya."
He was never a real "yatai no ramen-ya.

As I grew older, I didn't have many friends, so I gathered casually,
with no strings attached, no rules, and no membership fees. （ The only thing was not to speak ill of others ？ ！ ）

Just a casual gathering at the usual Starbucks
Let's get together on a Saturday afternoon and chat ・ ・ ・ That's how we felt. It was like that.
It varied from those who stayed for hours to those who were busy and left after 30 minutes.
"Nice to meet you ！ " "Hello" and constantly changing faces, but
some became acquaintances and eventually friends.
We had a few BBQs and potlucks, I believe. I remember there was also a Mentaiko promotion party. You were always the one who was sometimes in the center of the circle of people and sometimes on the edge.
Memories flood in with tears one after another.

I usually got "interesting ＋ mail."
But still, it was always a long sentence, a rare long sentence.
The sentences were truly amusing, serious, and varied.
It was a gem with a thought-provoking aspect that made me read it all in one sitting.


It connected people to each other, and I'm sure many of you were looking forward to Starbucks on Saturday.
From the messages I have received, it seems that the gatherings are still going on at that "Starbucks".
I am sure some of you may be interested ？
