Private bedroom in Santa Monica a few blocks from the beach!

Private bedroom available in a 3 bed and 1.5-bathroom apartment in Santa Monica. You would get a 147 sqft private bedroom with shared bathroom. It features a spacious closet, hardwood floors, and a large window! Room will be unfurnished. There is a full-sized kitchen and living room; they are both furnished.

The apartment is in an amazing location. Only an 8-minute walk from the beach and close to Downtown Santa Monica and Main St; lots of restaurants/stores around the area. ~12-minute walk to Expo Line metro stop. 93 Walk Score. Ideal roommate is fully employed and has good credit. Current roommates are one female and one male in their 20’s. Open to either male or female roommates and couples/pairs, but bathroom will be shared with female roommate. Room available to show in person or video call!

Rent: $1,150/month. Security deposit: $1,150. $250 one-time processing fee to be added to the lease. $2,550 total due for move-in. This is a rent-controlled unit!

Lease terms: Month-to-month lease. However, preference is someone who plans to stay a while, at least 6 months. There is a $50 application fee to the property management, and you would be put on the official lease as a subtenant. Must have good credit (min 650 credit score).

Move-in date: 01/01/2024. Ideally no later than 02/01/2024

Utilities: Water and trash included. Electricity, gas, and internet would be separate. Usually around $100/month per person.

Parking: Secured parking spot (single, not tandem!) available. Parking lot is gated.

Other: Laundry room on-site. Gated apartment complex. No AC; you rarely need it here, so fans are used in those few weeks of heat.

Must be okay with cats! No other pets are allowed as there is a cat living in the apartment already.
