提案です。
NYCは大変な状態にあるようです。明日は我が身？！
でないことを祈るのですが、一寸先は闇。
そこで、日本領事館、大使館に提案なのですが、
日本政府、厚生労働省と調整を取り、在留届を出している日本人にパスポートと有効期限内の住所を明記したドライバーライセンスの提示をした在米日本人には一定量のアビカンを配布、規定量以上は在庫状況の応じて販売ということは出来ないのでしょうか。
個人レベルでは、マスク、外出を控える等の対策を取っていますが、米国の医療システムは極めて不安定で、信頼しがたいです。
要約すると、自己と家族を守るために、『アビカンを備えておきたい！』です。もちろん使用は自己責任です。
現在のような戦況下、日本政府（領事館）が日本人を守ることのできる有効な手段だと思いますが皆さんどのように考えますか。
上記の要望、日本領事館に個人的にも直接問い合わせてみますが、これを読んで賛同してくれる方は、同じようにローカルの領事館に連絡をしていただけると助かります。
要望が多い方が動いてくれると思うので。

領事館内は治外法権、日本の憲法が遵守される場所ですねｗｗ
安倍内閣が判断すれば可能と思います。
内閣にe-mailすればどうでしょうか？

＞日本国内ではもう使われています。医師の判断の下希望する患者に投与されているようです。個人で服用する場合も、かかりつけの医師に相談して判断します。
もちろん医師の判断のもとでしょ。個人で服用も何もまずは医師に処方箋を貰わなければならないでしょ。手配って書いたのは何なんですか？

領事館の昼休みが長かったのはかな～り昔の話、、、、今は12時～1時になってる。でも手続きに時間がかかる事を予想して11時半までに来て下さいとか案内されるから、11時半から休みなの？と誤解している人達がいる。実際の昼休みは12時～1時だ。
日本の休日とアメリカの休日、どちらも休むというのもちょっと違うな。領事たちは日本から来ている日本の公務員なので日本の祝祭日の「日数分」を休む権利がある。。アメリカの祝祭日より日本の祝祭日の方が多いから、基本はアメリカの祝祭日を休みとし、それでも足りない日数分を日本の祝祭日のいくつかを休んでいる。例えば天皇誕生日は、日本国民として休む。あと年末年始も行政機関の休日だから休む。そうやってもまだ、消化できない休みの日数差を埋めるために、現地のGood Fridayを休みにしているのは笑えるが。
だから領事館は日米両方の祝祭日を休むと誤解されているけれど、そうじゃないんだな。説明されると、なるほどと思った。

すでにご承知とは思いますが、
CA DMV から連絡が来まして、70歳以上の方でドライバーライセンスの有効期間が迫っており近々 DMV オフィスに更新のため行かなければならない人は、この状況下でもあり、有効期間が120日ほど延長されるとのことです。
また70歳以前の方でも DMV オフィスにはアポなしでは行けず、必ずアポを取ってその日のその時間に出向かなければならないそうです。
120-Day Extension for Drivers 70 and Over
The DMV is providing a 120-day extension to Californians age 70 and older with a driver license that expires from March 1 to May 31, 2020. This action ensures this vulnerable group can avoid a DMV office visit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
