I wonder what percentage of the products in the store make up the products in the store.

The market near my house also has organic products on some of the shelves. I usually don't know because I don't have a Japanese market nearby and I don't go there even after decades have passed.

I have seen the building that Mitsuwa will be in.

Please take a look at the photos in the Machikado photo album.

It will take a few more years to build the various facilities.

Mitsuwa, the Japanese supermarket and restaurant food court, is opening up a new location in Northridge this fall.

I know "a couple of years" was probably over the top, but I have been leasing commercial space here for decades, and I know that water ・ and sewer work, in particular, takes time. And since this is in the City of Los Angeles, the city has strict audits during ・ construction and after construction. Even if you ask them to come and audit, they don't come right away.

Pon, pon, pon, pon, things are going to be difficult "this fall" but I hope it ends with my pining. If there was a food court or bento shop, we would be in heaven and go there every day. Also, there are only a few Japanese from Japan in this West Valley, but there are a lot of rich Koreans ・ and Chinese, so Mitsuwa has a good point.

Currently, we buy our meager selection of Japanese food at Galleria Market, a Korean market on the corner of Reseda Blvd. and Devonshire St., but if Mitsuwa is established, it will be a big blow to Galleria.

On my way home from the dentist yesterday, I took a peek for the first time in three weeks at the building where Pier 1 Imports used to be, where Mitsuwa will be located again. As I expected, the construction has not progressed at all. Or rather, they had not started construction yet. The only difference from the last time was that the aluminum rods of the ceiling light fixtures, which would have been there at the time of Pier 1, have been put together and dropped on the floor. To be clear, we have not started work on the construction for Mitsuwa at all. I can't figure out if the lease is completely done or if they are still in the process of negotiating the contract, but I personally feel that it will still take some time. My hope is that it will open this fall, though.
