冷蔵庫のリターンができないのでしょうか

コンドミニアム用に冷蔵庫を買いました。
コンドーの元の持ち主が置いていた冷蔵庫のサイズを測って、そのサイズのものを注文したのですが、運んできた人が「階段が狭過ぎて２階に持ち上げられない」と言ってガレージに置いて帰りました。
もう一度来週試す、と言うので来てもらったけど、またダメでした。
そこで、購入した店（某大店舗のところです）にリターンのお願いの電話をしたら、引き取りに来ると言っても来なくて文句を言っているところです。
ところが調べたら、CAではクーリングオフは７日間なのですか。
そのせいで購入した店が引き取らないのでしょうか。
運ぶのに手間取っていた期間は考慮してもらえないのでしょうか。

冷蔵庫は右・左開きはどちらでもできるようになっているが
購入する時はどちら側で開くか指定すれば良いでしょう。

最近の冷蔵庫はほとんどが2ドア以上で最低でも縦に両側に開きます。

＞前に住んでいた人のは幅３５、奥行き３０インチだったので、同じ幅のものを買いました。
でも、実際に買ったのは幅３５、奥行きも３５だったんです！ あとで気がつきました。この奥行きも考えなければいけなかったんです。
