カリフォルニア州シリコンバレーにて、スウェーデン人の妻と19ヶ月になる娘との毎日をアップしてます。
アメリカでの子育てに関してや、うちのように子供をトライリンガルにしようとしてる家庭であるとか、留学・海外生活全般に置いて何か発信することができればなぁと、またそんなトピックでほかの方々からの質問に回答する場となればなどと漠然と考えて始めてみました。
在米暦23年になります。Japan → Portland, OR → Memphis, TN → Austin, TX → Raleigh, NC → Dallas, TX → LA, CA → Bay Area, CA。

世界は今、社会主義に向かっていると思いませんか？コロナで一気に現実味を帯びてきました。
陰謀説ではないですが、よく昔からいつかそんな日がくると聞きながら育ちました。コロナになりより一層自分の中で確信に迫っています。
社会主義（しゃかいしゅぎ、（英: socialism）は、個人主義的な自由主義経済や資本主義の弊害に反対し、より平等で公正な社会を目指す思想、運動、体制[1]。
社会主義は広義には社会を組織化することにより人々を支える制度であり、歴史的には社会改良主義、社会民主主義、無政府主義、サンディカリズム、共産主義、国家社会主義なども含まれる[2]。

新型コロナウィルスの影響で世の中は窮地に立たされたが、と同時に今までの常識を見直すきっかけになり、今まさに私たちは新しい時代へと大きく舵を取り始めた。
ベーシックインカム獲得までそう遠くはないのではないかと期待感が止まりません。

失業保険の受給期間限度の満期を迎える人が年末に大量に増え始めるから、
ベーシックインカムを導入するか失業保険の期間延長をするかしないと暴動が起きたり強盗などで治安が悪くなりますね。

PC Wifi アダプターについて

最初の数ヶ月は問題なかったのですが、最近インターネットがよく繋がらなくなります。その度にそのWIFI USBアダプターを繋ぎ直します。それでも中々繋がりません。やはりUSBを買い直しした方がいいのでしょうか？ラップトプは問題なくインターネットが繋がります

もし上記のようなものであれば別なモデルに買い替えるのも手です。ラップトップ以外にスマホでも WiFi を使っているならそちらの繋がり具合はいかがですか。繋がりの悪い方はデスクトップでしょうか。もしそうならデスクトップは金属ケースなので WiFi の電波が入りにくいこともあるのでアンテナの角度をかえてみたり、雌オスの USB 延長ケーブルを間に介し USB アダプターをデスクトップから離し高めの場所に置くのもアリです。

今日は今のところ珍しくインターネットが落ちていません。携帯電話はネットがいつも問題なく利用できます。参考にさせていただきます。

コウリュウも好きでした。でも蟹玉炒飯のお店はミツワの近くにありました。この2店が行きつけになっていたのに寂しいです。
何故か名前が出て来ません。年ですねw
知ってる人は知ってると思うけどコスタメサは駐在の人や学生がいる街で、皆帰国して、このトピは見てないので反応がないのかな？
あと今気づいたのですが青木の中華という店が出来て(確かコスタメサかファウンテン バレー)そこでも蟹玉炒飯のメニューある。でも私の好きだったお店への愛着が強くて1度行っただけ。

世帯収入$186Kで、子供いてカリフォルニアでは普通レベルですよ。あなたの周りが低所得なんだと思います。普通レベルの家のローン組んだりするには充分だと思いますが、タックス引かれたらそんなにないのが現実。手取りでそのくらいもらうにはその1.8倍近く稼ぐ必要があります。会社員は経費がないからそれが現実です。

ですからうちは「金持ち」ではありませんよ。ただ扱いは高収入になるんです。そんな高収入でなくても$100k以上は高収入扱いになるんです。
マウントとってるのはあなたです。うちは至って普通の家です。決して貧乏ではありませんがあなた様のように$180kが低所得と言うほど稼ぎはありませんからね。
