Odyssey Endoscopy Center is seeking a Medical Assistant.
We are also looking for high school students who are interested in attending medical school or nursing school to gain field experience.

Administrative and accounting staff do not need to be licensed or certified.
Medical Assistants should be certified by the State of California (（ Certificate), but this is not required as we will provide in-house training for those who are not certified.

Experience working in a hospital or doctor's office is an advantage, but not required.
Rather, it is necessary to have a sense of caring for patients.

You will also need a work permit or equivalent ・ visa. In any case, you need to have a status that allows you to work in the U.S.

You must be fluent in Japanese and English. If you have other language skills or can type fast, you will be evaluated more highly.

Work days are generally Saturday mornings, but may extend to 1:00 PM on occasion. If it is not convenient for you, you may request to work only in the morning.

Experience working in a clinic is a big plus, but please don't worry, we will train you regardless of your experience and you will be working with our current administrative and accounting staff and others who are already there.

Dr. Ohara （ M.D. and Ph.D.)is a Board Certified and Board Re-certified Gastroenterologist （ by the American Board of Gastroenterology.
Doctor of Medicine ） at Okayama University School of Medicine and Osaka University School of Medicine, Graduate School （ of Medicine ）, Research Life at the National Institutes of Health (N.I.H., visiting scientist) and the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology. He has been in private practice in Southern California since 1996.

We are a medium sized dental lab run by a Korean owner. We mainly do crowns and implants, and we use CAD/CAM and 3D printers for our technical work.

We value such feelings as "I want to make it right" and "I want to get better little by little" more than experience and skills. We often work as a team, and if there is something we don't understand, we can ask on the spot. Until you get used to it, we will gradually entrust you with what you can do. Since we use computers on a daily basis, we expect you to be able to perform basic operations such as typing and mouse operation. Since we have staff of various nationalities working here, it is preferable if you can speak English on a daily basis, but we also have two Japanese staff members. This workplace is suitable for those who like detailed work and want to work in a good balance between time spent working silently and time spent consulting with others.
